Description
To Julia (For When She Smiles)
Post Zombies Ultra Rare ACETATE Demo.
When the original Zombies broke up, Rod Argent and Chris White retreated to Denmark Street, London in March 1968 to record 3 demos for their new project; a band called simply, Argent.
Although not intended as the final line-up, Rod and Chris were joined by Mac MacLeod on guitar, Jim Rodford on bass ( who did in fact join Argent) and Hugh Grundy on drums. The 3 songs were: ‘Telescope’, ‘To Julia (For When She Smiles)’ and ‘Girl, help me’ .
This is the second of these three ultra rare original one-sided acetates cut at Advision. The condition is very good with few plays. It comes in the original sleeve and is offered for sale by Mac MacLeod. If you would like an MP3 sampler recorded off this demo I could email it to you.
