SST "Soft Soul Transition" LP

Rare US pop psych album. Looks like a local/private pressing. Mostly chill "turned on" pop with a nice groovy, jazzy undercurrent. Eleven of the twelve tracks are originals. Some social commentary. Pretty fantastic, breezy pop for fans of Free Design, Unusual We, Inner Dialogue, Stan Getz/Astrud Gilberto... There's no date, but this is most certainly late 60's (or very early 70's). The vinyl is VG with a good number of surface marks and one small feelable scratch. The record plays well with mild surface noise (mainly audible in between tracks). There is a pop (not a skip) at the end of "I'm A Believer", but otherwise no skips or crackling. A very enjoyable listen! The jacket grades VG+ with some wear/creasing around the edges (no seam splits) and a touch of ring wear on the front. Not mint, however a decent copy of this rare album. No reserve!
