Pop Group - London's Underground - Conroy BMLP 092

Library music albums are still a mystery to most collectors but they are a source of some fabulous music for those willing to explore. Many are still waiting to be discovered but this 1972 album by the anonymous Pop Group has long been highly rated and highly sought after. Like most library albums it had a very limited pressing, had a limited distribution and is VERY scarce.

The music is outstanding. It's an instrumental LP of heavy, funky tracks with loads of duels between Hammond and superb psychedelic fuzz guitar. It could even be Ritchie Blackmore sparring with John Lord - it really is that good!

The cover is in excellent condition but has a little writing where a previous owner has made comments alongside track headings. The disc is in superb condition.

This is a good opportunity to pick up a rare & great album in nice condition.
