Description
Open Up and Say… Ahh! is Poison hitting full stride — huge hooks, sleazy guitars, arena-sized choruses, and enough attitude to wallpaper the entire Sunset Strip.
Nothin’ But a Good Time, Fallen Angel, Every Rose Has Its Thorn, Your Mama Don’t Dance — this is the album that turned Poison from a rising glam-metal band into one of the biggest acts of the era.
This is the original 1988 U.S. Capitol/Enigma first pressing, catalog C1-48493, with the uncensored original cover featuring the red demon figure and long tongue. That artwork caused enough controversy that major retailers objected, and the label later replaced it with the censored version showing only the eyes. Billboard reported that the first 300,000 copies went out with the original artwork before the compromise cover took over.
This copy matches the Specialty Records pressing, with the SRC logo in the deadwax and Sheffield Lab Matrix markings, and it includes the original printed inner sleeve.
A great original-era copy of Poison’s biggest album with the cover collectors actually want.
