Description

For sale my own copy of The Wall by Pink Floyd purchased new in 1979. This is a first pressing and outer sleeves, inner sleeves, labels and vinyls all grade EXCELLENT, no shocks or surprises - this is a lovely genuine clean copy which I have looked after for 36 years.

Here are the details:

Matrix stamps (side 1 / side 2 / side 3 / side 4): SHSP 4111 A 2U 833 X / SHSP 4111 B 3U / SHSP 4112 A 4U TML-X / SHSP 4112 B 5U TML M

FRONT COVER: A brick wall. The Wall is cream coloured, not true white. The bricks on the front cover are not aligned right to the bottom of the cover.

BACK COVER: A brick wall. There is no bar code on the back cover. The bricks on the front cover are not aligned right to the bottom of the cover.

INSIDE COVER: Scarfe images and credits. The credits on the inside cover do not list the members of Pink Floyd. The cover is made of two sheets of cardboard, with seams at the top and bottom of the cover. Cardboard is heavy thickness.

SPINE: BRICK WALL.

COVER STICKER: Not present

INNER SLEEVES: Heavy cardboard inner sleeves with rounded corners and a nine-inch thumb notch at the top. Sides 2 and 4 have the catalogue number (SHDW 411), pressing number (OC-158 63410), and the record number (SHSP 4111) in the lower right corner.

LABELS: Wall picture labels.

The outer sleeve has a few light indentations and crease at opening which I have photographed. There is slight ring wear just starting to become visible to the inner sleeves at the top - again photographed. The vinyl discs have some light marks which do not affect play, listening and visible grading of Excellent. The 2 x LP grades excellent condition throughout and is a well loved copy.
