I am currently selling off a large collection of vinyl records, including a range of original singles and albums, on behalf of an elderly relative. With them having lived in London throughout the 60s and early 70s, they were mostly purchased from music and record shops around the Brixton area, thus meaning they have only ever had one owner from new. The collection reflects much of their youth, and has since been highly prized over the last five decades. This is an excellent opportunity for any collector to get their hands on a range of rare 1st release singles and albums, as well as programmes, posters and various other forms of memorabilia, that present quite remarkable condition and provenance.
This LP is in great condition, presenting usual light surface marks from play and being equipped with its original sleeve and inner sleeve; these both display great condition as well, especially when considering the vinyl’s age. The posters and stickers that originally equipped this album are not included.
Importantly, this is the original first pressing of the album, as can be seen from the solid light blue triangle on the label and the blue tinge in the record’s sleeve. The matrix/ runout stampings also read SHVL-840 A2 PD 2, on side one, and SHVL-840 B2 GH 2, on side two, as is correct for the first issue.
