Description
Pink Floyd,Animals,LP, Catalogue Number: (SHVL 815), Cover Details: Gatefold sleeve with a Lyric inner sleeve.
Cover Condition: very good condition with some creasing or marks as seen in the pictures or noted.
Record Condition: Has been played a fair number of times and has visible surface marks but no feelable scratches so should not have any jumps/skips or anything serious beyond some background sound in quieter parts.
Any Other Details: Original early pressing. This has an unusual label and we think it may be a contract pressing as it has two impressed rings rather than one which most of the others have. Matrix numbers SHVL 815 A2U stamped with a stamped 7 and a hand etched M at the eight o'clock position & SHVL+ 815+B4 - this is hand etched also has a Y hand etched at twelve o'clock and OR hand etched at just past the three o'clock position. Housed in a first press sleeve with a wide spine and the front panel of the gatefold is glued together and has the edge folded under, the sleeve has some general shelf wear to the front, back and inside. There are no large creases, stains or splits. Complete with its first press black inner sleeve which has rounded corners, this is in good condition with a 4cm side seam split
