Description
You are bidding on a used copy of “World Tour” by Pink Floyd on vinyl, released by Amazing Stork Records in 1987 (copyright text says 1986, but that’s fairly impossible since this concert occurred in 1987). This 3-LP set features a complete concert recording from the North American leg of the band’s 1987 “Momentary Lapse Of Reason” tour (most sources attribute this release to the band’s performance in Ottawa, Canada on September 9, 1987). This item is from my personal collection and has been well taken care of.
Vinyl is in strong VG+ condition. All 3 LPs are very clean, just a bit of normal dust. The original plain white paper inner sleeves are included and in overall nice shape, though one has a couple of small coffee stains on one side and there are also a couple of creases and small seam splits among the other sleeves. The jacket shows some visible wear, mostly along the edges and corners. There are also a couple creases on the cover and faint ring wear on the back and front. Gatefold is in nice shape, showing very little wear aside from normal handling. Spine is crisp and fully legible. Aside from the dings, this copy is in excellent condition overall and plays great. PLEASE NOTE: I am not a professional grader. As a collector, I have vinyl that looks absolutely destroyed but plays perfectly without a single skip, and I also have records I purchased Brand New that don’t have a single mark on them but skipped for no evident reason the first time I played them out of the shrink wrap. It’s just the nature of the format. All of the records I’m selling are graded based on the best assessment I can make by looking at the vinyl—obviously, I can’t listen to every record start to finish before listing them, so I’m providing the most detailed photos and descriptions I can to make sure anyone who purchases from me knows exactly what they’re buying and is satisfied. Cool? Cool.
