(UHQR Original Master Recording)
Presentation Boxed LP from HARVEST (MFQR 1-017) © 1973.
Vinyl Pressed in Japan / Packaging Printed in the USA.
This is the "Original Master Recording" on UHQR (Ultra High Quality Recording). Complete package includes the "Technical Specifications Manual", Certificate of Authenticity (COA) personally signed in ink by the President of the pressing company “Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab” confirming this as a Limited Edition custom pressing numbered 3530 of 5000 (this number is also hand painted onto the rear of the record sleeve). Specially plated and pressed on high definition ‘super vinyl’ (thick heavy black vinyl). This is sourced from the original stereo master tape and pressed from the master stamper at the Victor Company of Japan, Yokohama during May 1981. Vinyl is housed inside a special "dust free-static free" plastic liner inside a plain card protective liner inside a unique heavy duty stiff card picture sleeve sandwiched between two foam protectors inside a superb presentation box. This exact item is officially listed in the latest Penguin Record Price Guide. Very rare and collectable item. In terms of value this is just below the eye-wateringly expensive early demo releases on 7" (£600!) and this is the most valuable Pink Floyd LP listed in the price guide. Reserve is well under book price as I think every serious collector should be able to have a go on this one. Good luck with your bidding.
CONDITION OF THIS ITEM: I bought this from a lady whose husband was 'in the business' and she advised me that it had only been played a couple of times - close inspection of the vinyl run-off areas back this up with bearly no visible spindle marks. I did play this through once myself when I bought it and after that it's been saefly stored upright in bubble wrap ever since. The vinyl is as mint as the day it was pressed. All inner packaging is near mint. There is just a very small amount of rubbing to the outer edges of the presentation box but nothing to lower the grading. Very reluctant sale. Please note, this item will NOT be relisted - just one chance to get it!
