Description

Pink Floyd - The Wall Columbia Records PC2 36183  Released November 30, 1979 - forty years ago today!  This is an original pressing that includes lyrics to an extra song ("What Shall We Do Now?") planned for side 2 but omitted when the album was mastered, due to space reasons.
Records vary between VG and VG+.  Sides 1 and 2 have more surface noise present in the form of clicks or background noise (especially noticeable during the quiet sections), whereas sides 3 and 4 have better sound quality but enough of a warp that you may or may not have trouble on your equipment (e.g., no problems playing this on my TEAC deck or on a family Zenith Allegro, but my Pioneer PL 660 required a small amount of extra mass on the headshell to help it; go figure!).  Be advised that this is a knockabout copy, sold strictly as is.
Jacket and innersleeves VG, due to some staining along the bottom front edge that transferred a little bit onto the bottoms of both innersleeves. There is no sign of any mold, mildew, or odour inside the jacket, however, so the problem is fortunately only cosmetic.  I've added two plain innersleeves to house the records so they remain clean.
Here it is, in all its glory!  (Or at least, such as it is on this copy.)  "The Wall" debuted in late November 1979 as Pink Floyd's (read: Roger Waters's) response to the stresses and isolation of stardom … which I believe he promptly took out on his bandmates, but anywho … this is a good collection-filler copy I've had that I look forward to passing along.  ("All it is, is another … album along your wall!  For your music education...")  Shipping and handling costs $3.27.  Happy bidding!
