Description
This original 1979 US vinyl double LP first pressing edition of Pink Floyd masterpiece rock opera features the iconic stark white brick wall cover pattern without any printed band logo text on the front or back panels. The lower left back jacket displays the small black Columbia Records logo alongside the PC2 36183 catalog code marking. The inner gatefold layout spreads out multi-panel surrealist narrative illustrations designed by Gerald Scarfe. The internal printed lyric sleeves display handwritten tracking fonts layout structures on brick backdrops. The custom center labels feature individual character drawings alongside structural track logs. A close view of the dead wax runouts shows hand-etched matrix codes reading PAL 36184-1A on side one and PBL 36185-1AB on side four. Please see photos for details.
