Description
For sale is a rare copy of Pink Floyd's "The First XI" vinyl box set. The 1979 EMI British box set contains Pink Floyd's first 11 albums. Both "Dark Side of the Moon" and "Wish You Were Here" are picture discs. Many collections have removed the picture discs that came with the set and replaced them with standard records. This item is being sold the way it was initially packaged.
The box itself is in very good condition. It is 41 years old so you can see little bits of wear here and there. The slip case that holds the lp's is in fantastic shape.
The vinyl are all shiny and beautiful. In terms of sound, they vary from being Near Mint to Good +. The Near Mint records have no surface noise. The Very Good records have surface noise at some of the quieter moments; Good + have more surface noise than the Very Good records. None of the records skip.

- Atom Heart Mother....SHVL 781 = Album Cover (Near Mint); Record (Very Good)
- Meddle....SHVL 795 = Album Cover (Near Mint); Record (Very Good)
- Obscured By Clouds....SHSP 4020 = Cover (Near Mint); Record (Near Mint)
- Dark Side of the Moon (picture disc)....SHVL 804 = Album cover, posters and stickers (Near Mint); Picture Disc (Good +)
- Wish You Were Here (picture disc)....SHVL 814 = Album cover, inner sleeve and postcard (Good +); Picture Disc (Very Good)
- Animals....SHVL 815 = Album cover and inner sleeve (Very Good); Record (Very Good; there is a slight visible scratch on side 1 that does not affect the playing of the record)
- Relics....SRS 5071 = Album Cover (Near Mint); Record (Good +)
