The Vinyl I am selling will be Play Tested and I will give an honest account of any issues or defects with the item, this will be subjective as everyone has their own opinions as to the grading of a record but I will be as accurate as I can and should you require any clarification as to the quality or any other aspect I will be happy to answer your query. I will also give a description of the quality of the cover and any picture sleeve or booklet that comes with the record as I know this is very important to record collectors. I will show as many pictures as I can in order you can make an informed decision as to the quality of the record. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase when you receive it I am happy to refund you, but please be aware you will need to pay the return postage. The Records will be carefully packaged in a correct custom LP cardboard mailer with sufficient protection in order the item will not be damaged. Description

Pink Floyd  ?– “The Final Cut” on the Harvest Record Label shpf 1983  is the twelfth studio album by English rock band Pink Floyd. It was first released on 21 March 1983 in the United Kingdom by Harvest Records and on 2 April 1983 in the United States by Columbia Records. It was the band's last album to feature founding member, bassist, and songwriter Roger Waters, who left in 1985; it is also the only Pink Floyd album for which Waters alone has writing credits, and the first not to feature keyboardist Richard Wright. As such, The Final Cut is sometimes viewed as a de facto Waters solo album.

Recorded in eight British studios from July to December 1982, production of The Final Cut was dominated by interpersonal conflict. Waters originally planned the album as a soundtrack for the 1982 film adaptation of their previous studio album The Wall (1979). With the onset of the Falklands War, he rewrote it as a concept album exploring what he considered the betrayal of his father, who died serving in the Second World War. Waters sings most of the lyrics, and lead guitarist David Gilmour provides lead vocals on one track.

Although it reached the top of the UK Albums Chart, the album received mixed reviews from critics. It was accompanied by a short film released in the same year.

Condition

The Vinyl is in Great Condition just a few Sleeve Removal wisps and both sides play through with no issues a Lovely Copy. The Labels are Excellent. The Gatefold Cover is Excellent as is the Inner Sleeve, all this can be seen in the Photographs I have Downloaded. Over-all I would rate the Condition of this Album as Excellent.

GRADING GUIDE

This is a guide as to how I grade the Records that I sell, everyone has their own opinions as to the condition of a Record but this should give a good indication so you can make an informed decision.

M (Mint): Never been played or item still sealed. Cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster (i.e. contents) are in perfect condition.

M – (Mint Minus): In brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover and contents nearly perfect.

EX + (Excellent Plus):  The Vinyl is better than EX but not quite near mint, possibly the odd super feint sleeve removal mark visible in strong light, but no proper surface marks. The sleeve may have super feint creasing or very slight handling marks but still in great shape.

EX (Excellent): Shows some signs of being played, light marks, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VG + (Very Good Plus): Better than Very Good: Has been played but no significant deterioration in sound quality despite some surface marks and light scratches. Some wear and tear on cover and contents, as in corner/edge/ring wear, without any major defects though.

VG (Very Good): Has been played many times but no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and light scratches. Normal wear and tear on cover or contents, without any major defects.

GD + (Good Plus): Better than Good: Sound quality has deteriorated but with no distortion. Some scratches and occasional more noticeable scratches that can be felt. Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges but not spine splits or discolouration.

GD (Good): Sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion. Mild scratches. Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.

F (Fair): Still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise - it may even jump. Cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

P (Poor): Will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc. Cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
