Description

An original 1st press of Relics on the Starline label from 1971. Matrix A1/B2. Please note labels still hold the "Gramophone" text around the perimeter - indicative of 1st issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse tetured cover. Also included is an original white patents inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In great condition and has seen relatively little use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of tiny deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is, in fact, pretty minimal. All we could really detect was a couple of burst or brief/momentary distortion once in track 1 and then again in track 2 [sub two second bursts]. Other than that we are talking about a very decent rendition.
Cover (Ex-) These textured white sleeves are prone to significant wear and tear over the years. This copy has actually stood the test of time better than most. Just some light ageing at the extremities, but nothing overtly noticeable. Edge wear is light and the text on the spine is still legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Little ageing and no splits.
