Description
A first pressing of "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" an album by (The) Pink Floyd (most songs written by Syd Barrett)on the Columbia label from 1967 (SX 6157) recorded in mono. Matrix numbers are XAX 3419-2 and XAX 3420-1. The vinyl has a number of surface marks but plays with minimal noise and, in Record Collector terms, is in very good condition. There is a click for the first five or six revolutions right at the faint beginning of track one side one. The flip back Ernest J day sleeve (which does NOT have "file under pop" on the reverse) has some minor defects including a slight bump top right, some faint creases in the laminate and some initials written on the reverse but it is otherwise in very good to excellent condition. A charge for recorded delivery in respect of items over £30 and special delivery for items in excess of £100 will be added to the stated UK postage and packing costs. Items sent abroad with a value in excess of £42 will incur an extra charge of £4.95 (at the insistence of Paypal) which will pay for postal tracking. If more than one item is being sent at the same time postage costs will be recalculated.
