Harvest (SMAS-832)
Gate-fold, Reissue (I believe this reissue is from the late seventies, not sure)
Matrix Run-out Side One: SMAS-1-832G52 #3 (etched), then a line and a sideways triangle, Gene (etched) Mastered By Capitol (stamped), then a circle with an x inside it (etched) Matrix Run-out Side Two: SMAS-2-832-G61 (etched) then a line and a sideways triangle, Gene (etched) Mastered By Capitol (stamped), then a circle with an x inside it (etched).
VINYL is Excellent. It shows some minor scuffs/ hair-like scratches. Not many and very light. At no point do they effect play.
The record maintains a glossy, original shine. The 'Harvest' labels are vibrant and clean. It plays excellent, with very little surface noise. Some can be heard during the softer sounding track sections. (Example: the intro of 'One of These Days' and 'Echoes'.) Once the song picks up tempo and volume, all surface noise vanishes. No skips, but it does have some Echoes (pardon the pun). I've had three copies in my record vault over the years and this is the one that was played the least.
COVER is Very Good+. No split seams. Great colors. The spine shows some wear and some 'peeling', as pictured above. The cover also shows some slight edge wear. Both front and back maintain a gloss. Surprisingly, it hardly shows any ring wear after all these years. The gate-fold opens to a very clean interior and the fantastic black and white image of the band.
I remember purchasing it, many years ago, at the Gallery of Sound in the Wyoming Valley Mall in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Ah, vinyl memories!
Overall, an excellent copy of Pink Floyd's iconic, sixth release.
