Description
This is a true gem of a collector's item. Up for auction is the original, first pressing, 180 gram version of Pink Floyd's "The Best of Tour '72," performed live in London. This was such an excellent recording and well-produced european bootleg, many buyers thought they were buying a BBC production. This was recorded live at London's Rainbow Theater on February 20th, 1972.
Both the record and the album jacket are in excellent condition. The record has been very rarely played, and has been meticulously cared for and properly stored over the years. In fact, the original shrink wrap is still on the jacket.
This bootleg has been reissued MANY times. Make no mistake: this is the first pressing. This is the real thing. It has the original matrix numbers etched in the run-out grooves: (16-421/422).
