 Very good quality bootleg vinyl from Sodium Haze records. No scratches or skips. A compilation of two BBC appearances by Pink Floyd in 1968

Programme: Top Gear. Presented by John Peel. Recorded Live Tuesday 25th June 1968, BBC London.

The group's third Top Gear appearance, sourced from a pre-broadcast archive master. Not only is this presented in superior sound quality to previous available versions, this is also complete with John Peel dialogue!
Song titles are given from the announcements. 'The Murderotic Woman' is an early 'Careful With That Axe, Eugene', which is mellower than later versions. 'The Massed Gadgets of Hercules' is a shorter take of 'A Saucerful of Secrets', 'Let There Be More Light' is a faithful reworking of the released version, as is 'Julia Dream'.

Programme: Top Gear. Presented by John Peel. BBC Radio. Recorded Monday 2nd December 1968.

'Point' and 'Embryo' are sourced from a pre-broadcast archive master. 'Baby Blue Shuffle' and 'Interstellar' are from a low generation off-air recording. 'Point Me At The Sky' has a slight title and lyric alteration while 'Baby Blue Shuffle' is an early version of 'The Narrow Way, Part One.' 'Embryo' is a short take on the song that would lengthen when performed live during 1970-71.
Note: There is a small transmission glitch during 'Interstellar', which is from the original source material. Do not adjust your sets!
