Description

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon.  Japanese First Issue with Solid Blue Triangle - Fantastic Condition.

Japenese vinyl is considered the best in the world and this one has survived 32 years in exceptional condition.

Dead wax matrix numbers - SHVL 804 A 1S / SHVL 804 B 1S (earlier than UK matrix numbers SHVL 804 A2 / SHVL 804 B2).

Virtually identical to the British version but better:

 

Includes:

- Cover with left hand edge folded and sealed, not just stuck together (see picture)

- Vinyl with origional poly inner sleeve with the 5 purple/blue lines, identical to the mobile fidelity sound labs (MFSL) rice paper inner sleeves (see picture)

- 2 posters, blue pyramids and pink band poster (see picture)

- Double sided postcard (like UK stickers but a postcard with one on each side - see picture)

- 32 page booklet with early pictures, band history and editorial in English and Japanese, this was only produced for the Japanese issue (see picture)

 

Condition:

Posters - Mint, completely unused.

Postcard - Mint

32 page booklet - Mint.

Record - EX++ Plays perfect, no clicks no crackle, looks shiny and bright - only a few minor surface scratches from taking the record in and out of the cover - Labels; no spindle wear at all, side 2 - Mint, side 1, Mint except for some tiny black plastic pieces that have pushed through from when the hole was cut, could be removed, see picture).

Inner sleeve - EX++

Cover - EX++, one or two minor scuffs to corners - no other damage.

This is fabulous, extremely rare and highly collectable.
