Original & complete 1st UK pressing of Pink Floyd - The Dark Side if the Moon LP from March, 1973. Solid blue 1st press labels. 1st press 'midnight blue' tint sleeve that seals on the front panel as per 1st press sleeves. This first edition of the case comes with the 67mm sticker on the front. The set is complete with all inserts - both 1st Version posters and the both postcard stickers with the original black poly-lined inner sleeve. The two postcard stickers are 1st press „Crack back“ versions. The black die-cut inner has the patent numbers and 'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN' printed on as-per 1st press sets. All parts are original.

Condition:

Very nice and in clean condition! The vinyl is wonderfull glossy to its original appearance, just look at the detail photos, with some Light fine micro-lines / Superficial wipers in good Natural Daylight, that cannot be heard or felt EXCELLENT condition, very Nice ! Both labels are clean, with just a short caption, as seen in the photo. The disc lies absolutely flat on the turntable without warping. It plays beautifully, clearly, without any jumps or ticks, no repeated clicking or loud intrusive pops on either side. No Skip on the Track Money B1 !!!

Track A1's long, quiet "heartbeat" intro is nice and quiet and a great start to a big, punchy 1st press sound that continues as it begins on both sides. The guitars and the vocals convey a gripping and great listening experience! I can imagine that's exactly how the band wanted it to sound.

The 1st edition 'midnight blue' tinted case is in almost EXCELLENT ++ ! condition, with only minimal light signs of storage, Amazing. Both posters have no rips, creases, tape or pinholes NEAR MINT ! Both postcard stickers are unused NEAR MINT ! Both posters and postcards look absolutely fresh! The original black inner cover has unfortunately become a bit brittle on the sides and was probably secured with some clear tape. But otherwise free markings and labeling VG - As you can see, otherwise in very nice condition!

A complete 1st UK press set in really really nice Condition !

PACKING

Special German made extra-stiff Cardboard Box designed for multiple LPs are used, even for single LP packages. The boxes are oversized and thus provide extra corner protection as well as great stiffness to the package. Additional protection may also be used when found nessesary, such as stiffeners, bubble-wrap, extra corner-protection. I do not charge anything for packing materials.

GRADINGS

MINT(-) is as close to new as a used LP or cover can get, unplayed or played 1-2 times at most with no visual signs of use on surfaces.

MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else. All minor blemishes will be mentioned in the individual descriptions.

EX or EXCELLENT is also VERY nice a few very fine light inaudible marks/ Microlines, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.

VG+ is nice with light hairlines, a few marks maybe. Please see individual notes in case of VG+ or lower gradings.

VG... Well used but still very enjoyable. See individual notes on the item in question.
