THIS IS THE ICONIC 1973 ALBUM FROM PINK FLOYD ENTITLED "THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON". THIS IS THE VERY FIRST UK PRESSING WITH THE A2 AND B2 MATRICES. THERE IS NO EARLIER PRESSING THAN THIS. THIS IS IN THE MOST DELIGHTFUL CARED FOR CONDITION. FULLY INTACT WITH ITS 2 LARGE POSTERS, AND THE 2 POSTCARD SIZE STICKERS. IT DOES, OF COURSE, HAVE THE SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE LABELS, AND THE AUDIO PERFORMANCE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. YOU VERY RARELY SEE A COPY ANYWHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS THIS COME UP FOR SALE. I FEEL THIS COPY IS GOING TO BE VERY HARD TO EQUAL, LET ALONE BETTER. THIS IS ONE OF PINK FLOYD'S RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL, IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH SOME AMAZING DIFFERENCES THAT ALL LATER PRESSINGS SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE!!!! AND THIS IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! THIS LP HAS SOME INCREDIBLE DIFFERENCES (INCLUDING THE COVER, INNER, LABELS, MATRIXES & INSERTS!) THAT ALL LATER ONES DONT HAVE THIS LP WAS ONLY EVER PRESSED LIKE THIS FOR AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF TIME ONLY - AND WAS CHANGED STRAIGHT AFTER RELEASE!!!! I have played this twice in FULL> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! There are not any jumps or skips. There is hardly any background noise at all!! Very remarkable for this vinyl!!! What can I say ...... an absolute classic which is one of the most sold albums ever!!! I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!!
Vinyl: EX+!!! Only a couple of wispiest lightest hairlines that have absolutely NO impact on the stunning audio. This is one of the best you will ever find with unequalled channel separation. SOOOOOOOO much better than any re-issue beit vinyl or CD. An absolutely beautiful as new deep glossy sheen as you will rarely ever see!!!
Gatefold sleeve: EX+. NO creases and no edge wear. The crispest of openings. This is as good as it possibly gets. This is the original sleeve as it was first issued, rare as hen's teeth!! Astonishing inside gatefold.
Posters: Both posters are in EX+ condition and have always been sat inside the sleeve. NO creases, NO pinholes etc.
Postcards: EX+ NO creases. The two postacards are the original with the brown crackback lines on the reverse.
Inner: Original black inner sleeve is EX.
Labels : EX+ . Only two light spiders. NO writing!!
