PINK FLOYD - Dark Side Of The Moon UK 1st Press Solid Blue Triangle


This is a first pressing of "Dark side of the moon" by Pink Floyd, from 1973, Harvest


SHVL 804, A-2/ B-2. GDT stampers on the A-side, -1 at 6'o clock on the b-side.



This original solid prism issue had a pressing fault on many copies that led to a skip


on the track "Money" - this copy plays through with no skips.



The cover has one light mark on the back cover, as in pic The spines are all clean again very minimal wear, as is the inner gatefold. The cover I would say is VGplus


The original black inner sleeve is in very good condition and has a slight mark about 8 mm from the centre. It's a bit like the paper has caught something but not ripped it. VGplus


The two original posters have never been used, EX


The two original stickers are both clean. How ever one of the stickers has a ever so slight crease on the right corner as in the pics ..on the plus side the stickers aren't faded. VG to VGplus


The labels are excellent and a little wear when held to the light. The vinyl surface looks very clean in natural light. I can see only one very light hairline visible, otherwise nothing else at all and the play is fantastic, still in excellent condition and still demonstrating the wonderfully bright full sound that makes this LP marvellous to listen to.

This first pressing is always so sought after.


Play testing and the album is in great condition. If any surface noise it is very very minimal if there at all and certainly doesn't not affect play certainly no persistent hiss or crackle associated with heavy play.
