Complete 1st pressing copy of Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of the Moon with solid blue triangles + original black inner + 2 posters + 2 stickers
I'm a private seller not a dealer and have had this copy a number of years, no reserve and low starting bid, and no returns please… it is priced to sell!
Vinyl is in very good condition with some sheen and the disc is flat with no warp. There are some sleeve related scuffs (see photos) and it plays with crackle in quieter parts on side 1 with some clicks here and there throughout. Side 2 plays better but still with some crackle and occasional pops and clicks. Has the factory pressed skip on "Money" but no other skips, jumps or sticking. Overall the album has been well used but still very playable.
Labels are nice and clean with no pen marks, slight scuff on side 1 label. See photos for more detail on condition, I have tried to catch the light on the surface to highlight the condition as best I can.
Note: photos and outline description describe the condition, I am no expert so only bid if you are happy with the fact that this plays with some background noises.
Sleeve is paler black colour than later versions (see photo, top one is the sale item) and is in very good condition there is shelf ware only as indicated on the photos and opening edges pretty sound. The cover is sound with no splits or tears. No pen marks, writiing, staining etc. Again see photos for more detail.
The mother/ stampers on the runouts are early… SHVL A-2 3/AG and SHVL B-2 1/RP
Inner sleeve - Black plastic lined sleeve with correct patent numbers and made in Great Britain text. In very good order with just some creasing. No rips or staining. See Photo.
Posters - They look like they've never been used. No pin holes, rips or staining. The pyramid poster is unreferenced, the group poster has SHVL 804 to the bottom right hand cover. See Photos
Stickers - Again look untouched apart from some slight aging. The stickers have the diagonal lines/crackback logos. See Photos
To summarise, it's clearly not a perfect record but a very decent playable copy with the correct sleeve, inner, posters and stickers. Hopefully a worthy addition to anyone's collection.
It will be very securely packaged for posting (box rather than a flimsy mailer) and will be sent by RM special delivery.
