Description
Very rare early recording of Pink Floyd performing the two BEST tracks from Meddle: "Echoes" and "One of These Days" as well as "Fat Old Sun" from Atom Heart Mother. This performance was recorded way back in 1971 when the Floyd was truly experimental, especially during their live performances. This show is truly a time capsule of a band before they got so big they couldn't really perform live anymore. Amazing sound quality and a terrific performance.
This show is super rare and it includes both the cue sheets and a letter explaining some background on who Pink Floyd is and how they got where they were. These shows were licensed for one performance only by the radio stations and then they were to be returned or destroyed. Only a handful of copies were produced and even fewer still exist. Originally copies were just shipped out in a plain paper sleeve but this one has been protected in a generic black cardboard cover. I've had this copy in my collection for over 30 years and the vinyl is still like new.
