Pink Floyd 2-LP 1979 The Wall First Pressing 1 Plates, All 4 Sides, Strong VG+/EX!

You know those manufacturer’s swirl defects, where if you look at the vinyl in normal room lighting, you can see them, but when you tilt the vinyl toward a light source, they vanish?  LP 1 has that effect, and it's pretty pronounced.  It’s also very difficult to photograph them accurately, but I tried my best.  LP 2 is Excellent.

Vinyl--- Strong VG+/ EX.  Album 1 has the swirls, and after that, it also has a few very light scuffs that can’t be felt with the fingertip.  Album 2 has just a few of those swirls and even fewer light lines.  Pretty nice set!

Plates--- 1AG/ 1BE.  1D/ 1AH.  All early first pressing plates from the 1 series.

Cover--- VG+. Cover has light to moderate dirtwear, front and back.  Light record outdent.  Still has high gloss.  NO SEAM SPLITS.

Gatefold--- VG+.  Full-bodied colors, NO CENTER SEAM SPLITS.

Labels--- EX/EX. EX/EX.  All four look nearly new, NO SPINDLE MARKS.

Inner Sleeves--- VG.  These inner sleeves were susceptible to easy wear.  Moderate dirtwear, moderate amount of finger divots.  Side and bottom seams were split an inch, previous owner Scotch taped them back together.

Generic white inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to further damage your original inner sleeve en route.

Overall, a VG+ to Excellent package of the first pressing!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
