Description
"NICOLAS SCHOFFER" art book with Pierre HENRY 7"
"NICOLAS SCHOFFER". Published by Editions du Griffon, Neuchatel, Switzerland 1963. Introduction by Jean Cassou. Text in English by Guy Habasque and Jacques Menetrier. Retrospective of the works of visual artist and sculptor Nicolas Schoffer, born September 6, 1912, Kalosca, Hungary. Schoffer studied at the Fine Arts Academy in Budapest and at the Ecolde des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
Schoffer created spatiodynamics in 1948, luminodynamics in 1957 and chronodynamics in 1960.
The book comes with a 7" single by Pierre HENRY containing the tracks SPATIODYNAMISM I and II. The record is integrated in the backcover of the book and was never played or removed. The music was recorded in Schoffer's atelier.
The hardcover book is as new. The dustjacket is as new. No discolorations of cover, dustjacket or any of the 149 pages. A wonderful copy.
