£9.95 org/5/12 Douglas Reeve Brighton Sussex Organ Old Radio BBC Organist Hand Signed WW2 Photo - This is a vintage 5" x 3" hand signed photo for organist Douglas Reeve at Brighton playing their antique organ with the signing undated but album notes denote 1939 so a wartime souvenir hand signed by Douglas Reeve where the signature rests perfectly accompanying the photo and undedicated too - some light surface and mild aging to allow otherwise great condition - reverse has small darker page marks where removed from album just to its reverse corners so overall my grading is very good and a real character local souvenir of this historic organist and front reads "Brightons Ace Radio Organist" whose famous signature tune he would enthrall the Brighton audiences with was "Pack Up Your Troubles In Your Old Rat Bag" - Douglas accompanied some of the greatest stars on the Brighton stage which included Albert Sandler, Leslie "Hutch" Hutchinson, Macari and His Dutch Serenaders, Mario "Harp" Lorenzi, the illusionist Maskelyne, Les Allen, the impressionist Beryl Orde, Norman Evans ("Over the Garden Wall"), Clapham and Dwyer, Harry Hemsley, Hughie Green, the xylophonist Teddy Brown, Nellie Wallace, Joe Loss and Flotsam and Jetsam. This is a true antique souvenir celebrating how he was not only a major organist but a key radio personality too.
£12.95 org-05-23 This is a vintage 6" x 4" personally autographed signed postcard for famous 1930s & wartime organist Idris Thomas at the Empire Theatre Cardiff which has been hand signed by Idris where the signature rests perfectly accompanying the image - this is lightly aged with mild curvature and surface graded very good condition - its a real character signing from this resident organist at the Cardiff Empire and undedicated signature from the war years making this a must for any local historian - Signature reads "Yous Sincerely Idris Cardiff Empre 6th June 1939"
£12.95 org/04/02 This is a vintage 6" x 4" hand signed antique real photo postcard for resident organist Jack Rolls at the Odeon Cinema in Weston Super Mere undated from circa 1940 playing their antique organ with its large "Odeon" fascia writing down the sides, hand signed by Jack Rolls where the signature rests perfectly accompanying the photo and undedicated too - This has a little light surface but overall this is truly great condition (postally unused) with undedicated signing and vintage souvenir of this famous wartime organist known as the "Original Singing Organist" where he is named this on the postcard too.
