Description
Philly Joe Jones (with Pepper Adams, Blue Mitchell, Julian Priester, Bill Barron, Jimmy Garrison) SHOWCASE Riverside 12-313, recorded 1958. Silver-on blue deep groove mono original LP. Jacket is E+: beginnings of ringwear. One rubber stamp on reverse. Disc looks NM- and plays. E+. 2 blunt scars midway in A-1 are visible but sound only as crackle.
Eleventh offering from the vast, very special collection of an international avant-garde LP maven, to be offered across the coming year. Most of these items have had one owner and one play, have not left the original house of the collector since purchase.
