Philips 835 072 Hi-Fi stereo Haskil Markevitch Falla

Philips 835 072 AY. hi-fi stereo label, first edition, made in Holland. Lalo night in the gardens of Spain, Chopin 2nd piano concerto. Clara Haskil, Lamoreux orchestra. Conductor Igor Markevitch.

This copy has a sample record label, and a label saying: Dicotheek Progr. Bur. P.P.I., which means in Dutch: Discotheek Programma bureau Philips Phonographische industrie, in English: Library Program Office Philips Phonographic Industries.  So this copy is from philips themselves! It is known that they sold all there old records decades ago.

The sleeve of this early edition is Vg, the laminate is gone and the sleeve has a seam split along the bottom.

The record is Ex+, it looks very shiny, and plays fine, no marks or scratches. I noticed a few random light pops and ticks, probably light dirt, nothing disturbing. A great copy of this rare record!

Grading:

  • M: never used. I don't use this grade unless the record is sealed
  • NM: No visible or audible faults
  • EX: Record has clearly been used, but has no major audible faults, some non sounding marks possible, maybe some dirt or light surface noise (especially on older mono record, surface noise is quite normal).
  • VG: Light audible faults, ticks or surface noise
  • G: scratches, etc. I don't sell record in this condition, unless they are very special and collectible.
Records are first graded visually. If I have doubts, I grade them on my linn lp12 / clearaudio concerto. If not satisfied, please contact me before leaving negative feedback. Paying buyers will receive positive feedback.
