Description
PHIL WOODS - SUGAN, Status 8304, Van Gelder in dead wax, autographed on back by Phil Woods. Originally issued on a very rare 16rpm record in 1957, this 1964 release is the first issue on regular 33 1/3 LP.
On this 1957 recording, the musicians are Ray Copeland (trumpet), Phil Woods (alto sax), Red Garland (piano), Teddy Kotick (bass), Nick Stabulas (drums).
The tunes are Au Privave, Steeplechase, Last Fling, Sugan, Green Pines, Scrapple From the Apple.
Condition of record is E, some very light scuffing, no scratches, no spindle marks, plays clean and quiet. Jacket shows some overall wear, small sticker tears on front, 1/2 inch seam split bottom right.

E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
