This auction is one of those very rare Columbia 78 RPM records pressed in blue shellac. This record features Phil Ohman and His Orchestra performing "Cheek To Cheek" & "Top Hat, White Tie And Tails. " These Columbia records were pressed in laminations are subject to lamination cracks that often show on only one side of the record when the shellac has been stressed. This record has been stressed and exhibits some of those crazing type of cracks. I have played both sides and while there are visual defects, they cannot be heard in play. Because of those tight stress cracks I will grade this one at VG -, however it plays much better than that. Check out the pictures and thanks for your bids.
