Description
This listing is for the very rare soundtrack vinyl LP of the motion picture Phantasm, a cult horror released in 1979. The music on this soundtrack was composed and created by Fred Myrow and Malcom Seagrave. This soundtrack was released on the Varese Sarabande label with catalog number VC 81105.
The labels on the LP show the Varese Sarabande logo on each side rather than the silver ball on one side and the hand on the other. I am assuming this particular LP is perhaps a very rare variation of this album as I have not seen this style of label on this LP before.
The vinyl play grades as VG++ and visually grades as VG++ (the third track on the second side has some visible scratch marks that do not affect play). The jacket is still in the shrink and is Near Mint with no creasing (there are some pink ink like marks on the back cover toward the right corner, possibly caused by the manufacturing process).
This soundtrack is apparently out-of-print in all formats, so this may be your only chance to listen to this music and defeat The Tall Man! Do not miss the chance!
