Description
This is Blue Note Records BLP 4205, Pete La Roca Basra, a blue and white, New York USA, microgroove label, original mono issue of this classic record with Van Gelder and the ear (p) mark stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG++ condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly. The cover has a split and clear tape on the top seam (see photo 4) and a small loss on the cover. The labels have a store stamp on side one and light spindle marks. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. If you can accept the cover problems, this is an excellent collector's grade copy of this beautiful original Blue Note mono recording with all the proper markings evident.
