Description

Pete Best joined the legendary Beatles in August of 1960, when the band was a five man unit including Stu Sutcliffe. Stu quit the band in January of 1961 to pursue art. Stu tragically died a year later. In August, 1962, it was announced that Pete Best was to be replaced by Ringo Starr, who played drums for Rory and the Hurricanes.
Pete Best remains an important historical figure in the musical history of The Bealtes. This album is a compilation of his early recordings with his new group called The Pete Best Band. The songs are representative of the original Liverpool sound. This album is now a sought after collector's item for serious Beatles collectors.
