Description
This is part of a big auction full of 1950's blues and R&B 45's that I'm running this week. There are many rarities from Peacock & Savoy as well as several from smaller labels. Lots of gems here! Keep an eye on the store as well, I'm doing a jazz 45's auction starting in early February.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Big Walter & His Thunderbirds - Just Looking for a Home / You're the One I Need
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1956
Notes: Original dark red label 1st pressing on the Peacock label. Early release of just a few by this Texas artist. A-side is a real guitar and horn based jumper. The b-side is a slower, more bluesy track, again with some great guitar work.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all, just a couple of tiny scuffs. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels are nice, with no writing/tearing/stickers. This is a great-looking copy overall.
Thanks for looking and keep an eye on my store as well, I'm doing a Jazz 45's auction starting in early February which has several Blue Notes and some cool rare EPs.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
