Description

This is part of a big auction full of 1950's blues and R&B 45's that I'm running this week.  There are many rarities from Peacock & Savoy as well as several from smaller labels.  Lots of gems here! Keep an eye on the store as well, I'm doing a jazz 45's auction starting in early February.

Here's the info on this item:

Release: Sonny Parker w/ Gladys Hampton's Blues Boys - Money Ain't Everything / Worried Life Blues

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1952

Notes: Original dark red label 1st pressing on the Peacock label. One of just a handful of records Parker made before his death in 1957. This one kind of sounds like a blues shouter vocal over a big band backing. B-side is actually a little more interesting as it incorporates an organ and trombone.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all, very close to EX. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice, with no writing/tearing/stickers. There is some light spindle hole wear.  This is a really nice copy overall.

Thanks for looking and keep an eye on my store as well, I'm doing a Jazz 45's auction starting in early February which has several Blue Notes and some cool rare EPs.

I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.

I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item.  If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
