Description
Paul Pena’s self-titled 1972 debut and his legendary 1973 "lost" album, New Train, are celebrated by critics as unearthed gems of 1970s soul, folk, and blues. Ranges from swampy Southern soul to San Francisco acid rock tinges. It features excellent acoustic guitar work (with steel guitar by Jeff "Skunk" Baxter) and warm, deep vocals often compared to Bill Withers or Richie Havens.
The cover is still in the original shrink. Would be much closer to NM (Near Mint) if it weren't for the sticker on the lower right hand corner of the cover and the writing on the opening on the back of the cover. Only light corner wear. The vinyl is a solid VG+ (Very Good Plus), plays clean!
