Purple vinyl

 

Although manufactured in Holland, this purple pressing was officially released in the UK in 1979 at the start of the coloured vinyl craze.  It was bought by me at HMV and their price sticket is still attached to the album cover as is another sticker saying  "Coloured Vinyl Limited Edition".

The record has never been played (I already had the album) and hence is in mint condition. It comes complete with the original poster which has never been used and is in mint condition. The cover deos show little signs of its 39 years age.

This is a lovely artifact and one which will surely increase in value over the years especially in this great condition.
