MINT or NEAR MINT are strong word's to use when talking about vinyl. Really all I can say is take a look at what's on offer & make your own mind up. If a shop was to offer this beauty, then possibly more people would trust this grade? I offer only the best possible & this is shop quality. My feedback helps speak the rest.

You will NEVER see another as great as this one. It has graced a turntable about one time to record the L.P. Years ago. And only just resurfaced to take these photographs and have its test play before listing.

Where its comes from? - It come's from my personal collection of stunning mint record's. Loads have already been sold & delivered with the precision & attention that they so deserve. Sent within the U.K. To as far afield as Australia.  

This has been stored at home (not outside in the shed or up in the loft) This was cared for & placed in a smoke free/damp free/pet free environment.

It never left it's home for any wild party's & as a result now in 2013 over four decade's 41 years in age is THE BEST you could ever wish for as an example of the McCartney L.P. Here below is a quick rundown of all that's on offer...

The cover is fully laminated with "clarifoil" still intact. Only the very slightest of any sign of loosening/bubbling. Tiny parts of wear here to the side loader. The spine at the side is fully intact with absolutely no splitting, text perfectly legible.

Only some slight expected crease from the design, from opening or closing the gated cover. inside is preserved PERFECTLY as it was when originally purchased over 40 year's ago. Stunning bright colour with zero ripping or tearing, no parting of the laminated protection. Absolutely no ripping to any part of the cover & no handwritten names inside or outside of this beautiful glossy cover. Marks out of 100% I can give 98%. Will not get any better than this one. When this gatefold is opened THE COVER STILL CREAKS!!! Just stunning to still have this L.P. In such a high demand worldwide, looking as fresh. BRAND NEW in appearance.

The labels are as you can see in TOP condition. Inspected under harsh bright white light. NOT EVEN ONE SPINDLE MARK PRESENT!!! NOT 1. The best I have seen of an original apple release.

That count's on both sides as ZERO spindle wear. No handwritten names, no ripping, tearing or fade in print. Perfectly 100% legible. run off matrix is YEX 775 A-2U & YEX 776 B-2U. On labels Stereo PCS 7012 copyright 1970. 33/3 rpm Mfd in U.K. An EMI recording instrument's & voices by Paul McCartney, harmonies by Linda McCartney, published by Northern songs LTD. Has stampers at 3 & 9 o'clock. All text is perfectly legible and clear. These are as good as it get's for a set of labels. 100%Spotless.

The original dust inner is here & in perfect shape, with no ripping or split, no age, dirt, dust, or names. Patent # 1, 125,555 MADE IN ENGLAND. This is stored behind the main cover in a polythene protector as has always been. this avoids any splitting to the main cover.  

The actual record : has absolutely no warping, no chip's, dent's, blip's, nail scuff's, sit's 100% flat on any surface. Tested again on a turntable which it sits proudly flat on. This Has been scrutinised (very carefully) under extreme bright white light & daylight conditions. Even under the brightest of halogen bulb you will struggle to view the wispiest of any sign of hairlines, caused only from the dust cover & the record being stored there. The vinyl has NO scratched marks, surface or otherwise (except for the tiny hairlines) There is not even one mark on this record NOT one single blemish, it is spotless. NO needle thrashing, NO ingrained dust, when test played it was astonishing. I'll happily give this a 100% out of 100% and graded as MINT. Just played twice at most & one of those plays was the test play given. 

Test play : played on a quality turntable with a new stylus. 

There are no negative issues to list through the entire record. No pop, tick, distortion, crackle, definitely no jumps or skip back in play. Astounding piece of vinyl & an absolute gem of a record to be offered. You can see clearly by the photographs (no effects added) exactly what is on offer here...its sounds like it looks. The tracks are played/performed in a way that the quiet parts remain just that - quiet. I can not hear ANY background noise present & because of the nature of the performances featured *with most tracks being vocal/acoustic this is good as it will ever get & equally important to be offering to a new home/collection. If you see this record being offered anyplace else. Whether its a A1/B1 etc. This will simply squash the competition. Add it to your collection & be a very happy man/woman.

Nothing less than a MINT example of this classic work by Mr Paul & Linda McCartney. DO NOT MISS OUT, NO POINT LOOKING ELSEWHERE FOR THIS ONE. Simply the best you will EVER be offered.

Record will be packed in a tough custom box DEFENDAPACK mailer as shown in the photos below. The mailer has a locking tab. The record will be placed outside its cover and inside a brand new polythene protector between two card stiffeners and sealed at the top with fragile marked masking tape. Items are labelled "handle with care".

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
