Description
This auction is for an electric guitar hand signed by Sir Paul McCartney. The signature was obtained backstage in June of this year when the ex-Beatle performed a secret gig at the Electric Ballroom in Camden, North London, to promote the release of his album Memory Almost Full. It is a clear, well defined signature that includes the message "cheers" and is embellished with a doodle/sketch of a smiling face.
The guitar is full sized and measures 38.5 inches in total length by 13 inches at its widest. The guitar had been played a little before the signing but is in great condition. It was even strummed a few times by McCartney before signing! Since then of course it has been kept under lock and key.
Also included in the auction for your provenance is the wristband that guaranteed access to this unique and intimate gig.
My Wife and I have collected many autographs over the years as a hobby and interest. We have now decided to carrying on trading whilst helping a charity that is close to our hearts.
