Fireman AKA Paul McCartney double LP "Rushes"
This package is still in sealed condition. It was originally bought by myself over in America in this sealed condition. The LP itself was "Made in England" and imported in to the USA where it had a "made in the UK" small sticker put on the front cover and then sealed in a loose fitting plastic "Baggie" type sleeve.
This was done to suit the American market who were used to having their LP's sealed whereas in the UK it was not usual for records to be sold in shrink-wrap at this time , although it is becoming far more usual in the UK nowerdays. At the time of me buying it this was one of about 3 or 4 of this LP in the racks and they were all sealed exactly the same as this example .......With the power of hindsight I wish I had bought them all now!!
I'm assuming that the records within will be in Mint/Mint condition and likewise the two glossy inner sleeves.
The Main sleeve itself is in EX- condition , it's in a great solid condition other than the fact that there a 2 small "dings" to the two spine corners , but these really are very small. The spine itself is still sharp and keen with no crushing to it. However the top of the sleeve has a small inch long split probably where the records themselves have moved a little in transit causing it to split.
I have provided a photo of my other "open" copy of this LP so that you can view the inner sleeves , this other copy of mine also has the same kind of seam split in exactly the same place and length so it looks to be a common problem with this LP .....if your bothered about trusting a "sealed" LP I would be happy to send you my opened copy (never played) in place of the sealed copy when the auction ends if you would prefer that option......the "opened" LP does not that the 2 small corner dings that the sealed copy does.
