Description

This is a copy of the Paul McCartney 'McCartney' vinyl LP test pressing on Capitol/Apple Records #SMAS 3363, originally released in 1970. This test pressing is probably a 1980s era test pressing, probably for the purpose of some sort of reissue (I don't have much info on why or when it was made). For those not familiar with what test pressings are, they are the first copies of records pressed prior to mass production to check quality and for sound approval. These are made in very limited quantities, usually 20 or less would be a good guess. They are very rare and collectible. It comes with white PRC labels with handwritten info (in this case, just the stock #). The record is near mint and comes in a generic sleeve. The songs are: The Lovely Linda, That Would Be Something, Valentine Day, Every Night, Hot As Sun, Glasses, Junk, Man We Was Lonely, Oo You, Momma Miss America, Teddy Boy, Singalong Junk, Maybe I'm Amazed, and Kreen-Akrore. All records sold will be cleaned with a VPI record cleaner prior to shipping. Shipping is $3.50 for media mail or $7.00 for Priority mail. Any non-US mail will be determined. All records are sent in a cardboard record mailer with cardboard stiffeners on both sides to protect against bending. Payment options are Paypal or Visa, MC, Amex, or Discover through our on-line store. We also take money orders/cashier checks. All payments are required within 7 days of auction ending. We combine shipping on multiple item winnings to save on shipping.
