Description

Post is Paul Kelly’s 3rd Album and his first solo album. It is a landmark in his journey from good to great and the first sign that his songwriting talent was extraordinary. This record created enormous anticipation in my circle of friends in 1985 and it didn’t disappoint. Rolling Stone Australia described it as the best album of 1985. Most of the songs reflect some connection with addiction and the hard side of life but at the same time offers enough optimism and hope to be a raw but beautifully balanced product.

Well known tracks from the album include “From St Kilda to Kings Cross” “You Can put your shoes under my bed” “Look so fine, feel so low” and the first version of “Adelaide”.
