Description

This is the RVG-etched (no deep groove, no “P”) pressing of Paul Chambers “Whims of Chambers” on the New York 23 labels of Blue Note BLP 1534.  The beaded rim playing surface is in new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once, if at all.  The coated New York 23 cover is in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout; ¾” bump at the lower left corner.  Blue Note inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Donald Byrd, John Coltrane, Kenny Burrell, Horace Silver, and Philly Joe Jones.  $200.00.
