Description
For sale is vinyl album by Potato y Totico titled Patato y Totico, originally released in 1967 by Verve Records, then re-issued im 1975 on RVC Records Corporation of Hialeah, Florida. I bought this used and immediately cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine before putting it into an archival inner sleeve. Doing this protects the vinyl and any inner sleeve or insert that may have come with the record. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as Excellent because of paper loss on the top right hand edge of the front cover and some tears in the paper in the middle of the bottom seam. There are no seam splits from these edge rubs and there are minor corner blunts that have some color loss. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint with shiny and bright surfaces without any surface scratches or smudges. The labels have spindle marks and what appears to be water marks around the center hole. I'm play grading it as Near Mint Minus with a clear sound stage, lots of dynamics from the drums and pinpoint imaging of the vocals. It plays all the way through without any skips or pops and the only defect I could hear was some occasional ultra low level surface noise, predominantly masked by this beautiful music. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this hard to find record in this condition. I have more Latin albums, as well as records of all genres in my Ebay store. Please take a look. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
