Unplayed copy from the estate of band member Rolf Seelbach, who also was the original drummer of legendary German prog band Flaming Bess. Cover is a little dirty (cleanable) and yellowed around the edges, but hey – it’s almost 30 years old! Little signs of handling. Comes with original lyric sheet in M condition. Also featuring Jörg Lensing on keyboards. Strange creative mix of prog rock and new wave.

Cover ist ein bisschen verschmutzt (lässt sich reinigen) und vergilbt am Rand – ist ja immerhin fast 30 Jahre alt! Wenige Lagerspuren. Originales Textblatt (neuwertig) liegt bei. Mit Jörg Lensing an den Tasten. Eigenartige, kreative Mischung von Prog und NDW.

Packaging and Shipping:
All discs will be shipped in new cardboard packaging specifically designed for records. To cover our costs, we will add a flat charge of 1 € to the actual shipping costs for packing material and handling costs.
As to the postage, I try to find the cheapest possible solution to get your record(s) to you. Unfortunately, international shipping costs have skyrocketed during the last years. However, I am happy to "collect" your winning bids until you want me to send them. The total sum for p&p including insurance up to €100 (£ 83,88) momentarily is as follows:

To Germany: € 5.- [up to three discs], € 6,90 [up to about 20 discs]
To all other countries: € 10,05 (£ 8,48 / US$ 13,66) [up to 3 discs – prices for a greater number of discs vary considerably and have to be calculated individually]

If you have won particularly valuable items that are not covered by the usual mail insurance, there will be additional costs of € 1,05 [£ 0.89 / $1,43] per €100 [£ 84,32 / $ 135,85]. On the other hand, if the value is low or you have won a single disc that is pressed on a particularly light material, shipping costs may be lower. Please ask before bidding if you have questions, and do not pay anything before I have sent your invoice (I always include a short peronal message so you can be sure it's not generated automatically).
Please check your parcels for possible damages as soon as you get them and inform the mail company if something has happened – otherwise the insurance will not pay, and the loss is yours.  Needless to say, I will nevertheless cover any damages caused by me directly because of faulty packing etc.

Payment :
Payment is expected within a week (overseas: two weeks if by mail) of the auction. I cover the usual seller's fees etc., you cover the rest. PayPal is accepted and usually the most convenient pamyent method for international transfers, but I'm happy to accept other forms of payment - if you are not sure what's best in your case, please contact me and we'll work something out.

Warranty
As this is a private auction of a used product, any guarantee according to EC laws is excluded except for cases where the article or its condition is not consistent with the description or pictures shown in the original auction.
So please contact me if I made a mistake – after all, I am a record buyer myself and was often disappointed, so I'll try to do better than some of the others …

My grading system

Records are graded first. Any extras such as original inner sleeves or lyric sheets are listed if included.

MINT (M):
These are absolutely perfect in every way. Often rumored but rarely seen …

NEAR MINT (M-)
Nearly perfect. May have very few non-audible superficial scratches from taking the record out of a paper sleeve. Cover may have few barely visible minuscule creases from handling or imperfect production. All in all, only damages you even might have found on your brand new disc a few decades ago.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)
Except for a couple minor things, this would be Near Mint. Records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that (if at all) do not tick repeatedly, slight warps, small marks around the center hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration.
Covers have minor wear, such as very minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom, or more pronounced creases. There may also be some defacing, such as a cut-out marking or small tears from removing a sticker, but this will always be mentioned seperately.

Very Good (VG)
Records have more obvious flaws than their counterparts in better shape. They lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail. Has surface noise and some audible scratches, but the noise will not overpower the music otherwise. Labels may also have minor writing, tape or a sticker on them.
Covers will have many signs of handling. Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside, is obvious, though not overwhelming. Some more creases might be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious; it may appear on all three sides, though it won’t be obvious upon looking. Someone might have written on it or stamped a price tag on it, too.

Good Plus (G+)
Good (G)
Gradually more pronounced defects.
However, the record still plays through without skipping, so it can serve as filler until something better comes along.
The cover may have ring wear to the point of distraction, has seam splits obvious on sight and may have heavy writing or tears.

POOR (P)
and FAIR (F)

Poor (P) and Fair (F) records are cracked or/and impossibly warped, skip or/and repeat because of scratches when an attempt is made to play them. Covers are heavily damaged and may even have large pieces missing. Only the most exceptional rarities (if even those) will be offered in such a condition and may serve as specimen copy only.

Bezahlung:
Der Betrag für ersteigerte Ware ist innerhalb von 7 Tagen auf das bei Ebay hinterlegte Konto zu überweisen (zuzüglich der Versandkosten, falls Sie keine weiteren Auktionen abwarten möchten). Auch andere übliche Zahlungsmethoden werden natürlich akzeptiert.

Verpackung und Porto:
Alle Platten werden in neuen Kartonagen speziell für den Schallplattenversand auf die Reise geschickt. Um die Unkosten zu decken, berechne ich eine Pauschale von 1€ für Verpackungsmaterial etc.
Ich bemühe mich um den billigstmöglichen sicheren Versand. Ich sammle gerne Ihre Platten, um die Kosten zu senken. Innerhalb Deutschlands dürfte momentan Hermes am billigsten sein, wo ich für insgesamt € 6,90 (incl. Verpackung) locker 50 LPs verschicken könnte (Oder 1-3 für €5.-).
Sollten besonders wertvolle Gewinne eine Zusatzversicherung benötigen, um vollständig abgedeckt zu sein, werde ich Ihnen den Preis mitteilen und Ihnen dann überlassen, ob Sie ein (kleines) Risiko eingehen möchten oder nicht.
Grundsätzlich gilt: Bitte überprüfen Sie direkt bei Erhalt, ob das Paket in Ordung ist, und melden Sie eventuelle Schäden beim Versandunternehmen – andernfalls greift die Paketversicherung nicht, und Sie würden auf dem Schaden sitzenbleiben. Ungeachtet dessen übernehme ich selbstverständlich den Ersatz für Schäden, die durch mangelhafte Verpackung durch mich entstanden sein sollten.

Garantie u.ä.

Da dies eine Privatauktion eines gebrauchten Artikels ist, schließe ich jegliche dem EU-Recht entsprechende Gewährleistung aus, es sei denn, die Ware oder deren Zustand entspricht nachweislich nicht der Artikelbeschreibung und/oder den Abbildungen in der ursprünglichen Auktion.
Bitte melden Sie sich also unbedingt, falls ich zu optimistisch war – schließlich bin ich selbst Sammler und oft genug enttäuscht worden, so dass ich es gerne besser machen möchte als einige andere (nein, keine Namen – wer sich angesprochen fühlt, ist gemeint) …

Bewertungssystem:

Platten stehen als erstes in der Bewertung. Sämtliche Extras wie originale Innenhüllen, Textblätter und ähnliches werden aufgelistet, falls vorhanden.

MINT (M):
Absolut perfekt. Oft behauptet, selten gesehen – auch bei mir nur in absoluten Ausnahmenfällen oder bei fabrikneuen Platten (sofern nachweisbar!).

NEAR MINT (M-)
Minimalste Gebrauchsspuren: Wenige unhörbare oberflächliche Haarkratzer, wie sie durch herausnehmen der Platte aus einer ungefütterten Innenhülle entstehen können. Das Cover kann winzige, kaum sichtbare Knicke durch Transport oder nachlässige Produktion haben. Zusammengefasst haben solche Platten eigentlich nur Defekte, wie sie auch eine früher neu gekaufte Platte evtl. schon im Laden hätte haben können.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)
Von ein paar Kleinigkeiten abgesehen fast M-. Die Plattenoberfläche kann minimale Abnutzungserscheinungen (durch Abspielen) vorweisen, evtl. auch leichten Abrieb oder Kratzer, die allerdings (wenn überhaupt) nicht mehr als einmal ticken. Das Label kann unauffällige Verfärbungen, leichten Abrieb oder Gebrauchsspuren rund ums Mittelloch haben.
Hüllen haben leichte Gebrauchsspuren wie z.B. abgenutzte Kanten oder einen kleinen Riss im unteren Falz (nicht mehr als 1,5 cm), evtl. auch deutlichere Knicke. Evtl. gibt es ein Cut-out-Loch oder eine abgeschnittene Ecke oder kleine Abrisse durch Entfernen eines Aufklebers. Falls vorhanden, werden diese jedoch gesondert aufgeführt.

Very Good (VG)
Viele der Mängel einer VG+ Platte treten hier verstärkt auf. Der Glanz fabrikneuer Platten ist größtenteils verschwunden. Es gibt sichtbare Rillenabnutzung ebenso wie leichte hörbare Kratzer (welche man mit dem Fingernagel spüren kann), die die Musik allerdings nicht "übertönen". Auf den Labels können Mängel wie Aufkleber oder Beschriftungen auftauchen.
Die Hüllen sind deutlich "herumgekommen". Ringabrieb in der Mitte und/oder am Coverrand ist deutlich vorhanden. Größere Knicke können vorhanden sein. Risse in den Falzen (auch in allen 3!) sind vorhanden, wenn auch nicht so schlimm, dass sie beim ersten Hinsehen sofort zu erkennen sind. Evtl. hat jemand die Hülle beschriftet oder einen (Preis-)Stempel darauf hinterlassen.

Immer deutlichere Defekte.
Die Platte läuft allerdings noch ohne Sprünge durch, ist also eine passable Übergangslösung, bis ein besseres Exemplar auftaucht.
Das Cover kann extremen Abrieb, offensichtlich aufgerissene Falze und großzügige Beschriftungen oder größere Risse (oder Aufkleber-Abrisse) aufweisen.

POOR (P)
und FAIR (F)
Platten im Zustand P und F haben Risse oder/und sind stark verformt, springen oder/und hängen wegen Kratzern beim Abspielen. Hüllen sind stark beschädigt und evtl. nicht mehr vollständig vorhanden. Nur absolute Top-Raritäten (wenn überhaupt) werden von mir in diesem Zustand als Belegexemplar angeboten.
