Description
Up for auction today is this rare vinyl copy of Osmium from the band Parliament. It was released in 1970 on the Invictus label and is the band's debut album.
Jacket: front and back surfaces are glossy with some light scratches, minimal ring wear, corners are in fair condition-dinged and mostly rounded with some spitting, surface paper on spine is mostly torn with an approx 2 inch split in the center, two small check marks in pen next to track list, original printed inner sleeve is not included, a new MOFI Anti-Static inner sleeve will be included
Vinyl: quiet underlying static is present but it does not interfere with the music and is mostly heard between songs and during quieter moments, loud dynamic music, up front treble and full bass, vinyl is glossy with minimal scuffs or lines that did not affect sound quality during play grading, some occasional pops can be heard during the music, no skips, no spindle marks, label is nice and clean
This record is becoming increasingly hard to find in this condition. Any fan of early Parliament Funkadelic, or funk music in general, would be proud to add this to their collection. Record has been cleaned using the Spin Clean record cleaning system.
