Description

Up for sale is an original 1975 US first pressing of the monumental P-Funk masterpiece "Mothership Connection" by Parliament.

Masterminded by George Clinton, this album is a holy grail of funk history and features iconic musical contributions from Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrell, Maceo Parker, and Fred Wesley.

This copy features the classic Casablanca "Desert/Camel" label design (with the blue and red neon Casablanca logo arching over the desert oasis scene), matching the initial late 1975 retail release.

Includes the legendary, heavily-sampled tracks:"P. Funk (Wants to Get Funked Up)""Mothership Connection (Star Child)""Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof off the Sucker).

Vinyl Play Surface: Retains a strong, dark gloss. Displays minor surface paper scuffs and light wisps from standard play and storage over the decades.Center Labels: Side 1 label is clean with sharp colors. Very minor wear around the spindle hole, completely free of any handwriting or stickers.

Jacket: The iconic sci-fi outer jacket shows bright colors on both front and back panels. It exhibits typical vintage storage wear, including rubbing/ring wear outlines along the perimeter margins, minor edge smoothing, and light creases near the spine/corners. Comes with a paper inner sleeve.

Buyer pays shipping. The record will be packed securely inside a professional, dedicated cardboard vinyl record mailer to prevent any bending or damage during transit.

Sold strictly AS-IS. No returns or refunds accepted.
