Description
Description inside album cover - "Rare indeed is virtuosity such as Pankaj's. Still more rare is acclaim and ovation such as is consistently given to Pankaj's performances, whether live or recorded. Na-yaab, his latest double album and twin cassette set, amply proves this, by having been awarded Platinum Status even before its formal release. Pre-release orders have ensured this, well before reaching the dealers, thus breaking all records. Na-yaab offers ghazals in a variety of moods - philosophical, romantic, and of course, the 'Maikhana' - penned by renowned lyricists Mumtaz Rashid, Dr. Sardar Anjum, Zafar Gorakhpuri, Naseem Ajmeri, Sheikh Adam Aboowala. Na-yaab unveils the full spectrum of Pankaj's mellifluous voice - the rapture of every beat, every note is captured in a minute melodious detail, most ably backed by a full orchestra of the best solo musicians."
