Panama Limited - Indian Summer 

Original UK press on Harvest, one of the rarest on the label, I have read

Matrix numbers on vinyl SHVL 779 A 1 G, SHVL 779 B 2 G

I try to grade as accurately and with as much detail as possible. I will mention any flaws that I find, as no record is absolutely perfect! 

Record:

I play graded the lp from start to finish on a modest high end system. Playgrade was ex to near mint.   The slightest amount of surface noise could be heard between tracks and during the quietest of passages, but there were no annoying clicks or pops on the LP. No major imperfections could be noted at all. The dynamics and separation was unbelieveable.The bottom end, full and powerful. I understand this is a popular record amoung collectors, and I can see why. The complex use of instruments, and tempos, is quite amazing. The recording and structure is very impressive. The contrast of sound shows there was a great deal of thought and preparation in the final mix. I have no way of weighing the record, but it is a thick press.

Visual:

The record displays a few light sleeve marks on both sides, but very few. They are superficial, and are silent during playback. The labels were clean and vibrant in color. 

Cover:

The textured cover is very good + condition. The spine is in good shape with slight rubbing. Just the slightest of beginning ringwear on front and back and the lower corners are slightly bumped. There is sticker residue on the upper left front cover. Back cover shows  a slight scrape on cover about 10 mm long . Some minor flaking  and rubbing along the edges, but no splits.

I playgraded using a Benz Glider, Nottingham Horizon SE turntable w/ SAMA, Rega RB 600 tonearm, VanAlstine Transcendence 5 pure vacuum tube preamp, MacCormack DNA-1 amp w/ Platinum upgrade, and Bower & Wilkins DM-604 speakers. Biwired with Audioquest Mammoth on low end  and Audioquest live wires on upper end. Granite Audio Silver interconnects, Incognito tonearm wiring, and Express Heavyweight counterbalance, and a Ringmat Mark III platter.

Overall a superb copy of scarce progressive rock LP - hard to find in this condition, a real keeper! Inner sleeve is also in excellent condition.

Record will be shipped in strong mailer with LP & cover separated to prevent from damage to cover. I will also pack with cardboard stiffeners for extra protection. I will ensure that this LP is packed very carefully.
